Both versions of the Pioneer backpack are identical -- except for their size and maximum weight limit. Pioneer has a volume of 22 l / 5.8 gal while the storage space of Pioneer Mini is 14.5 l / 3.7 gal. The total weight of Pioneer is 1.95 kg / 4.3 lbs, compared to 1.45 kg / 3.2 lbs of Pioneer Mini. The measurements of Pioneer with the folded chair are H 55 x L 33 x W 13 cm, and Pioneer Mini H 46 x L 28 x W 10 cm, so you can use both as cabin baggage on your flight.
built-in chair
It would not be a BAGOBAGO backpack without its signature aluminum built-in chair. Just unzip the rear zipper, spread the legs, and you are ready to take a seat. The maximum weight limit of the normal size is 130 kg / 287 lbs, while the small size can support a person up to 100 kg / 220 lbs of weight. The construction of the chair prevents any damage to the contents of the backpack and makes it more comfortable to carry than a regular backpack. Hover over the picture to see a photo montage.
compartments
Pioneer and Pioneer Mini share the same number of pockets and compartments. There is one main compartment that can fit a 13" laptop, one outer zipped pocket with an inside phone/wallet pocket, and two reticulated side pockets for water bottles -- all easy to access even when you are sitting on the chair.
materials
Pioneer is manufactured from high-quality water-proof material (level 5), kortexin 100% PES, so whether you take it with you around the city or to the woods, it can endure any weather conditions. The shoulder straps and the backside are padded with a soft foam, which makes Pioneer very cosy to carry.
components
Both Pioneer and Pioneer Mini feature a simple handle for opening and closing the chair, high-quality zippers, adjustable shoulder straps, adjustable chest strap, and a hip belt. The aluminum chair legs are hidden under a removable and washable cover. The whole backpack can be washed as well.
